got unsolicited call from several numbers, with different area codes, all from the same company claiming it is in response to my email ... i never sent them an email. i've never even heard of them.
I get calls from this number, saying Press #1 to accept this call. Then they say in a recording that they are with American Auto Transport. I have been getting calls from them on my cell phone for days now. Everytime I speak with a live person - I tell them to TAKE ME OFF OF THEIR LIST. Nothing works. This is my business call phone - and a total waste of my work day!
Now I'm on their list. Every day, I'm getting several calls. They say that someone filled in a web request for a shipping quote. I've asked repeatedly to be removed, but I'm still getting calls. I think by "claiming" that someone submitted a request, they are getting around the "No-call" list rules. I wish I had the owner's home number so I could call him late and night and early in the morning. How utterly intrusive.
