I have got telephone calls from 323-285-8982 mentioning they are from Dept of Legal Affairs, California and this is a
verbal notice regarding a pending legal action against me. I called back that number and they clarified that there is a legal action pending from IRS regarding a pending tax payment in 2007! and bring your criminal Lawyer ... etc.
I contacted the IRS and they said nothing is wrong with my account.
got that same call and remembered that I had purchased some pills from a company in India,,vitamins,,and I had used my wife's name to use her credit card,, then did a separate order 3 months later using my card and my own name, so I got 2 calls from them, one for Me and one for my wife. When I returned a call, for some strange reason,,,,he was unable to find my information and then asked to speak to my wife ONLY. The people answering sounded "indian" so I am pretty sure they are trying to sell me something or possible get some private information out of me by pretending they are officials.. I will call them back and get a few names and badge numbers which they should easily be able to give me if they are legit.
I also received the same call but from a June Taylor and I was to contact Chris Walker. Supposedly I had some legal action against my name at that I should contact my legal adviser as soon as possible. The woman also had a strong accent and I was barely able to understand her. She also told me she was mailing me some very important documents to be filled out. I agree with the scare tactics. What a bunch of jerks. I hope karma kicks them hard!

,,,Got on the internet right away,,,,after returning their call several times (323-285-8982), I was finally told that I had not responded to a supposed IRS letter and finally found out what this was all about,, I asked for his name,, badge number and physical address,,, He gave me the name Officer robert Brice, badge number 04687,,So I tried calling their supposed office,, which turned out to be the California immigration department (300 N. Los Angeles St. L A. CA, 90012,,,,After weeding through their stupid automated phone system for 10 minutes I finally got a real person on the phone who was basically clueless as to what I was trying to ask her,,,and talking to her about a supposed "officer Brice",,Supposed badge number 04687 . who did not exist,, I called the FTC (FTC.gov, type in IRS imposter in the search area) and they told me about these scams and I logged a complaint,, then I waited for the scammers to call me back and ask for money after "baiting" me with the threat of being summoned and arrested at my home within 24 hours... Well I got tired of waiting and called them back,,, I said,, I work for the M O B and we've traced your call,, WE know where you are and you and your co workers should really be careful standing near the street anymore because you could get pushed,,, I mean ,,,,,you could have a serious accident into an oncoming Bus... and I hung up.... Then I tried to call back and the line was immediately cut,, tried again,, same "line Cut" sound....I hope all of you out there can come up with similar crap to feed them,,, such as another I was prepared to say was,,, "go ahead..If you even show up here you will need SWAT because you aren't arresting me without facing my Gun"... or another,,"Go ahead and send your officials,, I will write THEM a check and get it squared right away... or you could say " funny,, I work for the IRS and have no idea what you are talking about,,, give me the information you have and I will look into it."
Right now,, I am trying to find another phone to try,, I bet they just cut That certain phone line off and now if anyone calls it,,it's dead. I bet they use Lots of different numbers..
I hope this helps,, they had my panties in a bunch there for a while.. Nobody wants to get a phone message saying that you AND your wife are about to be arrested for ANY reason what so ever...Now I am SO [***] PISSED OFF... [***].. If I really knew where they were,,, hell yes,, I might take care of business...
I am also going to call the california tax fraud hot line tomorrow and turn them in for surely Not paying taxes on the illegitimate money they are making,,, THEY might actually get something done about this!.. You guys need to call the tax fraud hotline also and turn them in so someone will do something if there are enough complaints....For your convenience,, here is that information....................

If you repeat that "bus accident" thing,, they may actually start believing it and go away,, swarm them with that same message.. worth a try... I will try again tomorrow to harass them,,, if anyone gets any other numbers,, please tell me,, I would love nothing more than to make them pay...That the Real IRS is coming for them,, and SOON!
Also,, tried that number from the wife's cell and does the same thing,, one ring,, then nothing.. maybe they are only blocking Me,,, not sure.... I make my money from home,, and am bored a lot of the time,, I would love nothing better than to eat these people for my lunch,,, and I have the time to do it,,, Guess I am now addicted,, that was sure a tasty meal, ,,, and now I am hungry for more,,, HAH
