I have got telephone calls from 323-285-8982 mentioning they are from Dept of Legal Affairs, California and this is a
verbal notice regarding a pending legal action against me. I called back that number and they clarified that there is a legal action pending from IRS regarding a pending tax payment in 2007! and bring your criminal Lawyer ... etc.
I contacted the IRS and they said nothing is wrong with my account.
Ha! This "David Johnson" just called the house and my wife answered. She said he had an accent too so it must be the same scammer. She could tell it was dodgy from the beginning. Anyway, he was allegedly calling from the US Dept of Treasury about legal action against me. The case was to begin tomorrow, Saturday, (the case must be in a food court then because that is the only court open on the weekend) and he needed info. His callback number was 323 285 8982 and we could ask for his associate "Cliff Walker" when we returned the call.

David Johnson from Legal Affiairs -- this guy of full of crap.....called back and it's a "magic jack" whatever that is.....number that has been disconnected with no referral. He said legal action will be taken on our name if we don't respond. And have a blessed day..... called today at 1 pm.
I also received the same call but from a June Taylor.. Supposedly I had some legal action against my name at that I should contact my legal adviser as soon as possible. The woman also had a strong accent and I was barely able to understand her.
