Got a call from this number this morning, Woman on the other end sounded older; asked for my wife by name. When asked who she was representing, she said "the chiefs of police." Hung up. Spam or telemarketer.
I called this number back and it went to a recorded message asking if I wanted to be put on the do not call list. This is definitely spam. Also, very strange.
i just got a phone call from that number ... it's the same area code as mine(akron, ohio area), so i figured it was someone local but none of my fam or friends name showed up with it.... so i figured if it's something important, they'll leave a message. .... there was a robo-voice lady who ended up with her voice in my messages, as follows: ... their pre-recorded message said something about it's "important" and we need to do more to our online business records, or customers won't be able to find us .... and also there is more they need to discuss with the business owner.....
my insignificant other does have some new domain names & one biz actually set up, but I know for a fact that anyone could access the e-commerce page if we gave them the web address. ....... so what is it these people NEED ... it sounds like a b2b call maybe? what do y'all think???
