I received this call too. It was a automated robot person. I called them back and the person who answered was an Indian man with a heavy accent. He hung up on me. I called back and an Indian woman with a heavy accent answered. I told them I was a 16 year old girl and I didn't understand. She asked me for my information and implanted dumb. She then asked for someone who I didn't even know and I told her wrong number. She said she would take my number off her list.
I guess the trolling scammers are back. I thought i had them blocked because they were calling me from a washington state area code. Now it's the ohio one so i blocked that too. I like to call them back and tell them i work in the FBI cyber crimes unit. I hate these people. I guarantee DELL gave these idiots my number when i had to call them to fix my computer.
Every time I block one a week later they call with a different number. Total scam!! They give everyone the same case# and line of BS. IRS will never call but contact by US Postal mail. Please let anyone in your family know these are scams who might be vulnerable to these types of scams. Re-adding my phone numbers to the do not call list, which you are supposed to do every 3 years. Not that I expect it to do much good, these people use computer dialers so they just go digit by digit. I never answer calls from numbers I don't know.
