I just got a call from these fools! They almost had me paying to save my husband from a warrant!!! I called my bank and we did in fact have a pay day loan years ago and it was PAID IN FULL. These jokers would not give me any information whatsoever about who the company was that we owed the alleged debt to or how much the original debt was to begin with. My bank advised that it was likely a scam. I also called the BBB and they advised that it was likely a scam and no legal proceedings can be done over the phone.
Do NOT fall for these scan artists. William Jacobs will call and say he's going to issue a warrant and blah blah blah. I had a payday loan out years ago and it is paid in full! Not sure how to have these people caught, but they are totally harassing me and others!
