I've received numerous calls from this number! At all times of the day and night. I don't know who it is because I do not answer calls from numbers I don't know; they have left no messages.
Apparently it is the Collection agency for GAP. Better call GAP up asap as there is some [***] late fee charge of 25 bucks applied to your card EVERY month even if your account balance is $1. Also, if you paid over the phone and thought you had cleared everything/ closed your account, then be careful. There is a bloody $10 charge to pay over the phone that these buggers won't tell up upfront, but that gets charged to your account and adds up and creates the late fee charge cycle. If you tell them in no uncertain terms that you weren't aware of this nonsense, they will (and should) waive off the late fee charges for you. Rest, pay up and end the bs.
I have just started getting calls from this number, both to my home and cell phones. I don't answer the phone if I don't recognize the number and whoever it is, isn't leaving any messages. It is a little irritating, but I have learned to ignore such calls. My kids are also trained to either ignore it or ask me before picking up the phone.
