i called them and just told them I had just gotten this cell phone number since I was put in the witness protection program and further calls to this number would be sent to my handler for action.
we have been receiving phone calls from this number a couple times a day for a couple of days. My husband will not answer his tracfone if he doesn't recognize the number which sends it to our voicemail with our last name mentioned. I finally answered the call last night after the third call from the same number. They asked for Jose which is neither of our names. I told her that there was no Jose here. She insisted that she had the right number and repeated our number. Once again I told her she had the wrong number and hung up on her. We have had this number for over 4 months now.
This phone # has been calling at least twice a day for the last two weeks. We have extra phone #'s and no one has this # that calls. It is bogus and we don't answer it. We are on a no call list and if they keep it up I will be making a complaint to authorities. Also plan on mailing them a cease and desist letter to G.E. Money. 330-433-5984 is the # that keeps calling.
Same thing here. Have had 7 calls in past 2 days. I simply don't answer. (But, that's also true of ANY number I don't recognize.) A man calling himself Ken Peterson left a voice mail saying the call is for "Kenneth Cooper"...but that name is not associated with this cell phone and I have had the number for 4 years. No business name or agency is mentioned. I also do not have a Dillards acct.
These idiots have yet to be able get me a bill in the mail, so they call to demand payment over the phone. They have a real racket going here - there's a "late fee", and then, they try to demand an additional "phone processing fee" to take your payment. As if it's my fault they cannot get the address right - despite repeated attempts by me, spelling it S-L-O-W-L-Y and speaking with tons of people.
Lesson learned: never buy furniture from Dillard's unless you pay for it directly. I regret opening the account to get the % off.
I have been receiving unwanted/solicited calls for weeks now (except for last week - don't know why the break!)The calls (6 or 7 a day!) came from different numbers, and when I recorded them and had them blocked, they started using this number! Yesterday, there were 3 calls before I went to church and 3 more during the afternoon! I have never answered since I don't recognize the number and don't want to waste my minutes. The CID will identify the call as Ohio, Montana, etc. - always a state. This is harassment! Is there anything anyone can do to stop this?
