This number called 3x yesterday.........once I didn't answer, once they didn't leave a message and on the third try when my husband answered they asked for someone named "Johnson"- WRONG! They called again this morning and asked for my mother-in-law who doesn't live with us. We gave them her number when they said they were calling about Sam's Club. Did we do wrong? Does anybody know who/what they are or want? Our caller ID said GE MONEY ..........
They collect for Sam's Club credit cards..been calling my house several times a day beginning at 8 am seven days a week. When you answer and tell them the bill was paid on time, they'll argue with you. Don't even think about asking for a supervisor, you either get yet another argument or they put you on hold forever then they disconnect you.
If you are on the do not call registry, file a compaint every time they call you. I finally broke down and did a search for GE Money on the internet and called the number that displayed. They gave me a different number to call but said it was about my "K's Merchandise" account. I don't have a K's Merchandise account. Had one over 5 years ago, quit using the account while I had a zero balance and K's Merchandise went out of business in our area at least 3 years ago. Spoke to someone there and told her I was on do not call, their calls were illegal and that I expected the calls to stop. She said she was transferring me to her manager. I sat on hold for 10 minutes and finally hung up.
