I missed this call, but I had a few like this about windows computer, and I just love keeping this jerks on the phone and giving them false information, and saying, wait a minutes, some is at the door, and I come back to the phone like 20 minutes later and just hang up. This scum bags want to put a app on your computer to fix it, all this app does is give them power to control your computer and get all or any information they can. This one low life says he was from the Government and told be to turn on my comport, I told him I didn't have a computer, he kept insisting I turn it on, I turned him off when I hung up. Also, anytime I see unavailable on my caller ID, it sure most likely a scam.
The man, who barely speaks English, identified himself as an associate from Microsoft and that they have been getting many error messages from my computer. He stated there were viruses that were allowing 3rd parties to gather my secure information. He wanted me to open my computer so he could walk me through the process to fix it. I asked for a number to call him back. He gave me 877-345-4869. Of course I didn't call that number either.
