I average two of these type of calls a day. This one was about "the Windows computer" from a guy with a very thick Middle Eastern accent. I happen to be a Christian, so I just started telling the guy about Jesus and God and Salvation. I asked him if he had ever heard of Jesus, and he was very aggravated and said, "Yes. Yes, we believe in Jesus. We know all about that, and we know all about you."
"We? Who is this 'we'?"
"Me, I meant to say me..."
I continued with telling the guy about God, Salvation, what the Bible says, and asked him if he was going to Heaven. At this point, he was quite aggravated and his sham wall was down and he said, "Yes, the Koran tells us about Heaven and God and all of that blah blah, I know all about that, but I want to tlak about your computer now."
"Oh, are you a Muslim?"
"I am not talking about what I am, and there are all sorts of religions and all of that ok?"
"Yes, there certainly are but there is only one God and only one way to Heaven. I want to be sure you will go to HEaven one day."
"**inaudible**...caliphate. Do you know what I mean when I say caliphate? Jihad? That's what you get!"
"Oh, ok, you are a Muslim then. Well, the Koran was written by a man, Mohammed, and it came from him combining all sorts of things he had heard from other religions and he hated anyone that didn't believe like him, so he told people to kill those who wouldn't go along with what he said. He wasn't a very nice man, sorry to say. Jesus isn't like that..." and I went on to tell him the Gospel again.
He eventually told me to go to Hell.
Just got call from Akron OH, it is 10:10 p.m., good thing i wasn't asleep already! I hope with more folks catching them behaving badly that the crooks behind the scams will just stop, and they just fade away....thanks 800notes and everyone who posts here for a place us innocent victims can band together against this tele-scourge and wipe them out!!!
