Caller asked for me and call was forwarded to my line. I answered and they ask if I was ****. I said yes and then they hung up....not feeling good about this.
Anyone checked their credit? especially if they are stealing our voices.
John Adams-339-204-1042. Called about 2 weeks ago, and was transferred by the front desk to me.
he said “This is John Adams, is this "insert My name" . I said “yes” he kind of paused and I said can I help you and he just said “thank you” and hung up. It was super creepy.
I just got a call direct from +504 9 and I answered and said “this is Kat” and he said “may I speak to "insert my name" ?” I said “no one by that name works here” and he said “she is in quality assurance” and I just hung up.
Both men has middle eastern sounding accents so I figured they were the same guy. I may or may not have just hung up on a client but I don't care, better to be safe on the front end and apologize than to get in the car with strangers because I am too worried about hurting their feelings.
A man with a very heavy Indian accent called asking for one of the guys in IT. He couldn't pronounce the name correctly, and was obviously having trouble reading it. He lied and said his name was Mark Smith and he wasn't calling from any company; he was a personal friend of the employee, who wasn't answering his personal phone. I put him on hold till in hung up, and didn't bother answering when he called again a minute later.
Same as everyone else. A foreign sounding male just called and asked if this was _____ when I said yes. He asked how are you? I asked who is this and he hung up.... I'm saying scam too and will have to lock down my credit!
