These are robocalls that have nothing to do with the do not call registry. If you have ever talked to someone like these scammers to request that your number be placed on their do not call list or pressed a number to have it removed...you are screwed. What you did was confirm that they reached a live number which they can sell to other scam artists. That was told to me by an employee of the FTC when I filed a complaint.
We got a call from this number today at 4:27 pm, and it was blocked by our call blocker. The caller ID was EAST WEYMOUT MA. Due to numerous other such calls from different numbers, our call blocker now blocks all calls with the this caller ID.
