These guys have been calling me incessantly. After speaking at length with the first young man, he finally broke down and told me that it was a scam! I encouraged him to go to school. He said that he had already been to school and had graduated but couldn't find any other job. I told him that it was obvious that he was not happy doing that kind of work because he would have moved on to the next victim by then. I told him that if he found a job helping people rather than victimizing them, that he would feel better about himself and his family would be proud of him. He said that he knew I was right but he had to continue there until he could find something better. Waste of time though, of course, as the calls continue. The next call was from a woman who told me that she needed to speak with my husband about his pending arrest. I told her that thanks to the previous call, we had been alerted and my husband was already in jail. I told her how much I appreciated her kindness in informing us of the looming arrest and since I had to give all my money to the police, I had nothing left to give to her. She immediately hung up. Now I'm just getting non-stop voice mails from "Officer James Anderson".
(571) 290-2027 Haha what a joke , my 7 year old cousin can pull a better scam without his voice cracking or shaking.. My mom got the call twice today so I tried calling them back but just kept ringing and ringing..
These are hard core Indian scammer/extortionists. As such they are beyond the reach of US law.
They will say you are going to be prosecuted for tax evasion or some other such nonsense, but that in order to make it all go away you have to go buy some Green dot money paks for x amount of money. Green dots are untraceable of course. Once you give he or she those numbers or codes, your money is gone.
