Caller ID name only said "Virginia". It was a recorded voice using a woman's first name claiming this was an important notice to supposedly lower my interest rate on my credit card. Press 1 to lower my interest rate or press 3 to discontinue my credit card. Suffice to say, this was an intrusive annoying waste of my valuable time and my attention.
I got a call from them and dialed "1" to talk to them. They said they are the credit assistance program. They asked if I was in debt and needed assistance. I said no, but I was auto-dialed and would like to be removed from their list. They hung up on me.
I also receive calls like these on my land line, robo call indicating they can lower your interest rate, press 9 to speak to a customer service agent, if you press 9, you are linked to a very rude obnoxious person who is definitely not located in the US, who might swear at you and call you names if you ask to be removed from their list,
