This company Maritz Research, called, and said they were calling on behalf of Bank of America, and I told them if Bank of America had any questions they should call me directly, I do not speak with 3rd party callers.. and I am writing a letter to Bank of America, and suggesting if they want to do a survey of their services, they should do it themselves.. I know their customer service agents are recorded, so they can critique them that way, they do not need to hire 3rd parties, and I am upset to know they may have given my phone number to someone I do not know.. no wonder there is so much identify theft around if the banks give or sell your information.. guess they need extra cash to compensate for the mess they have created on Wall Street.
I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK. IT'S MARITZ(? SPELLING) RESEARCH. THEY DON'T HAVE TO OPERATE WITH THE DO NOT CALL LIST , BUT YOU CAN CALL THE NUMBER AT THE END OF MY NOTE TO HAVE THEM STOP CALLING YOU. THEY CALL ABOUT RECENT PRODUCTS OR SERVICES THAT YOU HAVE USED OR PURCHASED LATELY. IT'S EITHER BANK OF AMERICA OR CAPITAL ONE IN MY CASE. THE NUMBER IS ........ 1-800-864-8601
They do have to follow the Do Not call List if they are a business operating in the USA. They are lying to you about that so what else are they lying to you about?
they keep calling me, twice daily, once @ my work number and then again on my cell! This only started within the past 2 weeks or so. And they never leave a message. my BOA & Cap1 accounts are just fine, etc...
Is this a massive marketing campaign recently started with all their customers or something?
