Answered this call and got a woman that said she was from the IRS and that I had been identified as with a tax fraud and wanted to know if I have a tax attorney. I told her she had the wrong number and hung up. I went on line to the IRS web site and reported it. Does anyone know how the IRS would contact a person about taxes? I would think it would be by US Mail?

Received male message stating I was being audited for tax fraud and evasion. I was victim of tax identity theft previously. IRS will work with you. Do not respond to this ---its a scam
