Indian called said he was with"Windows" lol and that my computer shows that there is a problem with it. I asked how he got my number he says when I bought my computer I gave it to them. I told him I own an Apple computer and he didn't know what that was. I ended up hanging up on him.
The same guy who is from pakistan keeps calling our house with different number stating that there is something wrong with our computer. I keep telling him I don't own a computer and to stop calling because its harrasement. I told him I was going to call the police and have you arrested and he told me to go ahead and do it and that he was going to call the FBI on me.
I just got a call from the same number. And he said he was with the computer company and it showed that I had downloaded something on my computer. I told him to take my name off any future calls and hung up and blocked his number!! Why in the world can't we as consumers protect ourselves from these people always trying to scam us!!! I bet I get one of these kinda of calls at least once a week! It's really annoying!!!
Man with Indian accent claiming to be from "Windows authorized tech center" who said they have been receiving errors every time I connect to the internet over the past few days. I informed him I use a mac and he hung up. Definite scam - they even knew my name.
Same as the others. Guy calls and says he's with windows certified by MS and he's out of Miami Florida however our caller id says our call is from Penn. Our friend from MS loves these calls. :)
