I just got a call from them. They are calling on behalf of CAA. The lady who called me said "they". They were trying to sell some sort of accidental death insurance. When I said I wasn't interested, she went into the usual "Scare tactic" of saying that someone in Canada dies in an accident every 53 minutes. I said "I'm sorry, I have to go" and hung up.
I am really angry! Just received a call from this number apparently representing CAA with a promotion offer for my partner who was not here (at work). She was very pushy ... asked her not to call again ... she said the offer was for my partner and wanted a time to call back to speak to him! Like the only reason I answered the phone was to ask whoever to remove us from their call list ... we get tons of "Unknown Name" calls weekly!
annoying call... picked up... there was ringing so I hung up... this number called a number of times at different times of day...never leaving a message
It is a telemarketing company calling on behalf of CAA.
They are calling to offer a Life Insurance promotion that CAA is having.
Not a scam, just not something I am interested in.
They will keep calling until you answer and tell them No Thank you (3 times as usual)
