carsellercanada.com,myautoagent.com,where do I start ,scammers are us should be their name, greg johnsonor matt or mike tepleski or whatever name he goes by today. its not right the province of British Columbia allows this guy to change business names and continue his shady business practices under a new company name. consumer protection agency needs be involved and all customers need their money back !!
Global Auto Registry is Great Cars and Trucks. Try to Google them and you will find your answer. Please do your American Express cards a favor and hang up if they ever call you. The last reply is from an employee of the company. This is a joke and an insult to the forum itself. They have more Better Business Burea complaints than actual cars on the website. STAY AWAY.
I just recieved a call from the company and it does sound a little "too good to be true", so I thought I would check it out on the web and I found a few posts. Not sure if it is a legit service or not but I think I am going to pass and sell it on Autotrader.
I just got a call from these scammers too. The salesperson was a young girl who I at first thought was calling on behalf of her parents. While she talked (for 5 min straight), I googled Global Auto Registry and read tons of bad stuff about them.
The salesperson explained that she had 6 qualified buyers, and had an offer from one of them for even higher than my list price! She also explained that I could take advantage of this great offer by paying $300 up front.
What a scam! Apparently there has been 60 Better Business Bureau complaints on them under a former company name.
When I told the girl I knew the company was a scam she acted surprised and tried to convince me it is not.
At that point I told her I hoped she and the company got caught, then hung up.
This company called me aswell I did my research just like everyone here, very mad about what happened but very happy aswell. I did my research again and found out that they are not great cars and trucks or w/e had my lawyer look at it and he found out that its only been Global Auto Registry and nothing else. So I listed my car with them and was told they had 4 buyers (was to good to be true) but signed up. a month passed nothing happened come to find out there was only 1 buyer he backed out. then a week later after talking to my agent Johny Marshal it sold. SOLD MY CAR! was very happy. was gettin really worried because it was a month but it sold and was from Global Auto.
Just seems to me just give it a try you never know. I dont know about getting my money back after 90days because I did sell it but the company works.
