carsellercanada.com,myautoagent.com,where do I start ,scammers are us should be their name, greg johnsonor matt or mike tepleski or whatever name he goes by today. its not right the province of British Columbia allows this guy to change business names and continue his shady business practices under a new company name. consumer protection agency needs be involved and all customers need their money back !!
This company called and called and called us, also pretending to be a buyer. The guy was extremely aggressive and totally rude when we asked for more time to look into the company. We were suspicious when he kept asking for our credit card number right away and called from three different phone numbers with odd area codes, and then we started reading all of the posts about this fraudulent company. What kind of people are so devoid of morals and integrity as to work for an outfit with a reputation like this? Total losers.
I had the same call. I do not think you should have to pay up front 300.00. If they have the buyer and the financing, take it off then. The 75.00 is not horrible. Advertising cost. okay. It really does not sound right. They are saying your vehicle will be sold in 2 weeks....possibly... Sight unseen. I think they are preying on people that need to sell. They will give you your money back it they don't. I am looking at some of the negative on this site. Not impressed. We are all warned about paying up front. Don't get scammed.
Got a call from a girl tonight (this is the 3rd time this number showed up on my caller ID and I finally answered it) pretending to be interested in my car for sale. She asked all the right questions and then quickly said the company name and for ONLY $500 they would sell my car to qualified buyers standing by for my total asking price plus the $500 so I would get my money back. Also gave me a weird phone number to call her back at and was very pushy about wanting an answer and what time I would call her back. After reading everyones stories on here I am glad that they don't know a lot about me! Selling a car is hard enough without these people calling everyday!
Same thing with me. Probably same girl. Keeps calling and calling, told me that they 300 searches for my vehicle type/model but did not have one in their database and it should sell immediately. I checked out there site they have at least 20 vehicles the same make/model and within 2 years of my cars year. i will tell her, if they are positive it will sell then list it for free. Otherwise I am not going forward with, definitely sounds like a scam!!
