carsellercanada.com,myautoagent.com,where do I start ,scammers are us should be their name, greg johnsonor matt or mike tepleski or whatever name he goes by today. its not right the province of British Columbia allows this guy to change business names and continue his shady business practices under a new company name. consumer protection agency needs be involved and all customers need their money back !!
I got a call from globalautoreistry about a month ago after being scammed by greatcarsntrucks. I am a Law student so I decided to do a project on the two companies, turned out that greatcarsntrucks was a scam that got shut down n was raided by a CTV crew, but globalautoreistry is a completely differnt company, owned by a Canadian n compliant with "BC Consumers Affairs" so that pretty legit to me. Interms of being pitched by some1, the pitch that I got had nothing to do with "buyers ready to buy" cuz I was told they would advertise my car 90 days or money back. Well I've had about 9 or 10 calls but still not sold, don't know why. Mayb cuz my schedules all over the place but anyways all I can say is that its legit

Yeah I just got a call from these guys I looked em up and hey for sure are a scam. They say 90 day money back guarantee right? go to there website and view the FAQ it says right on there you have 5 DAYS after your 90 days is up to get a NOTARISED document saying you did not sell your car. Try finding a lawyer to notarize a document how much does that cost? how long does it take? then you mail by post and hope they get it within the 5 days (which Im sure they will jsut say nope didnt get it) Stay away from these crooks!
I went through the process and would say STAY AWAY!
Two main reasons.
1) Two get you money back you have to submit a form with photocopy of registraton and notarized by a LAWYER! You have to submit all of this within 5 days of your ad expiring. You know that something is going to happened and you are going to get screwed out of your refund.
2) If you don't sell it through there site you don't get your money back. Hence they do nothing other than put it on a website and keep your money.
There are so many ways to get screwed on this that it is not worth it. Most of the posts say that they caller inpersonates a buyer (which in my case was true). Nice first impression.
Keep to the free sites like kijiji, usedcity.com or craigslist.com.
Laslty, I won't be surprised if the positive posts are from there employees.
