I've received multiple calls from 650-204-3191. I don't answer my cell phone if I don't recognize the number... I just left the voicemail pick it up. Whomever this was- they did not leave a message. I tried calling back and the automated message states that all representatives are engaged and to press 1 to keep holding for a representative.. a few seconds later- the same message repeats- and that's pretty much it. Nobody ever comes on the line. If it happens again- I'll just ignore it and hope they don't call again. It's obviously not a real company because if it were there would be a company name on the automated message, but their isn't.
I learned from a friend of mine a while back that it's a great idea to blow on a whistle or something equally annoying right into the phone's handset- see if they like it! Let's start a pact and all blow whistles when these idiots call!!!! See if the calls stop then.
Please file your complaint with the do not call registry if you number is registered.. this is the only way that calls like this can be investigated properly.
They said they'd gotten my name from a payday loan site, *even if that WERE true *(which it isn't), how did they get the phone #? The woman had a very thick accent, could hardly speak English, and she kept telling me that I had filled out an ad on a payday loan site (Not true). I told her I had not done such a thing, she said, "Well, you are interested in going back to school, are you so? You filled out the form that said so. Bad English, and I kept telling her NO. Then she said, Well, you do want to right? I said again, NO! She kept asking the same question, till I hung up on her. Very annoying, and we are ON THE NO CALL LIST! So, we advised her of that fact, prior to hanging up on her.
