I got a call from them too. I don't even live in California. They must be going down the list.... the question is why? What could they possibly gain from calling so many people without a thing to say?
Just received a phone call from this number. judging from the abortion of a voicemail it left, it is an automated system calling about voter registrations, and plays an automated message as soon as they hear a response. the voicemail it left was only a few words at the end of its message, saying something about a voter registration card.
