Some guy, Indian or Pakistani accent, calls me 5 - 10 times over the past couple days. Never leaves a message. I actually answered today and he calls me by name (obviously has bought my information from someone) and says my name was selected 'for something free'. I told him no and hung up. He refused to tell me who he was or his company. It's a scam. Period.
I have been getting calls from 650-285-5484 for weeks. I don't answer, and when a message is left, it says "please leave a message". WTF! This is beyond frustrating. My telephone company (Optilink) does not have an option to block one particular number, and neither does my phone. Today I got 15 calls, so far. Isn't there anyway to keep this number from calling? If I answer the call, which I have on occasion, when this first started, the caller hangs up and doesn't say a word. I've got some words for the caller though!
Update: Just got another call and answered. To my surprise someone said something. He (Indian) asked to speak with my phone number . . . I told him to stop calling my number, he said he didn't understand. I asked for someone fluent in English. He said he was. I told him to STOP calling my number, and he said he couldn't. I asked why and he hung up. I did have some choice words with him, to my satisfaction, before he hung up on me.
