Call from 650-500-0102.  Voice mail message - calling from the underwriting department of card member services.  Based on the way you have been paying you may qualify for a reduction in your interest rate to as little as 2% . . . Please call 800-420-0565.  This offer is only good for 48 hours and this is your only notification.  Never said whom they were trying to reach.  No company name on caller ID, just phone number.
Sounds like phishing to me.

Credit card phishing scam. Left a generic message from "the underwriting department" wanting to reduce the interest rate for "your credit card"..after I call them back and give them my personal information. Strictly for verification purposes, of course!

Here's what to do:  If you are usually at home or in your own office, just turn off your answering machine.  Set the number of rings for 6+ which will give you enough time to look at the number on your caller i.d., Google it,and check a great website like this one.  In the meantime the phone's ringing and there's no answer.  So the garbage creeps on the other end think it's a non-working number and they don't call again.  I've tried this for a week now and my robo-calls are decreasing down to only 1 or 2 a day from 5 a day.  I also go on My Verizon website where I can block up to 5 calls.  I go in and update every few days from the last few robo-calls that I've received so that every time they call from a different number I block it right after they've called. I've tried everything before, e.g. Do Not Call list, answering with shrill whistle, harassing them, etc.  nothing has worked.  When I've just let the answering machine take it (thank goodness for Caller I.D.) they consider that someone is home and they just keep calling again and again.
The downside to this idea is that I can't use my answering machine, although I just turn it back on between 9pm and 9am.  But my friends and family know how to reach me on my secret prepay cell number (that's a great and cheap plan B--$30 Tracphone) or they know to just email me, since I'm online a lot.  And honestly, most phone calls aren't THAT important, anyway.  If you're expecting a really important call, and you might be "away from your desk" just turn the answering machine on while you're not home and then turn if off again when you walk in the door.   I'm pretty much a happy camper now!  Some of you try this and tell me if it works for you.  It's working for me!!
