Number is being used as the call back number for a theft ring. This number will appear on your bank statement with various company names associated with it such as "It was fun" and "Facebook" but the number always rings busy when trying to contact them to dispute charges.
This number is owned by Level 3 Communications and is a Landline in Palo Alto, CA. Level 3 Communications refuses to acknowledge the fraud or shut the phone number down nor will they provide law enforcement any cooperation in tracking down the fraud. This makes them accomplices to the theft.
22 illegal charges to my Visa card during January 2016 which were just caught. Card has been cancelled. Filed report with bank and local police department. Bill entry was listed as Facebook and the phone number 650-618-7714. I do not use Facebook.
5 charges on my account - from $47.04 to $48.70 over a 3 day period. They all just hit my account today. Overdrafted my account by over $218.00. Wells Fargo did not seem at all surprised. The bank is addressing it for me, cancelled my card and they are sending me a new one. I'm also calling the police on Monday
Our credit card company called about a suspicious charge, and once that was resolved found out there were 5 charges from Facebook charges on the card they had already credited. They all had the phone number 650-618-7714. Had to have card cancelled and another one sent. Also watch for charges from L C Busre, an airline in Peru.
I received a charge on my credit card from 650-6187714 that said FACEBOOK. it was for $25. Not a ton of money, but I called and cancelled my card. When I called the phone number it was only a busy number.
this company took over $919.09 off my dept card and i had to get another one . now my bank won't refund it . but i wont my money back and i guess the police will take over this matter
