Claimed to be Fraternal Order of Police. . .if they send anything here, it will be going to the police so they can get their cut of what has been collected, and also they can advise the public about how to respond to these folks. Oh, and the "minimum donation is $10." Fifteen is what they want, however. How about NO? They're quite argumentative, and don't want to hear a no. The number is blocked on our phone now, and, as I say, if they begin to send stuff, it won't be going quite where they'd envisioned. BTW, if you're looking for a great Father's Day gift, a phone with number-blocking capabilities is probably my favorite ever.
