Well, I must be lucky because I got the call three times. Called back and "the caller was unable to take messages at this time." Does that mean that have shut this down?
Got 3 of the same messages from the clown claiming to be Steve Martin with U.S. Treasury - I tried calling back just to see what he would say and it was busy busy busy.....
Had three calls in the last hr from this man. Just filed a complaint on http://www.ftc.gov/ He leaves the same message:
"And I'm calling regarding enforcement actions executed by US Treasury. And can you get get attention. Ignoring this would be an additional check-and(?) attempt to avoid initial appearance before the magistrate judge for-grand-jury(?) for a federal criminal offense. My number is 650-746-6620. Again 650-746-6620. I'd like you to cooperate with us and help us to help you. Thanks."
Same here...received two calls today from Steve Martin (accent) supposedly from the U.S. Treasury dept. who claimed I needed to call back. Of course I knew it was a SCAM but wanted to report it here so others would know.
