718-395-9477(Brooklyn, New York Area Code) is a group of amateur scam artists who answer with a very generic "Federal Agency" or "Federal Government" when they answer the phone. No specific agency...just that they are "Federal". Ha!
They attempt to extort money from you for various ficticious debts they claim you owe on your taxes or other debts.
Oddly they can tell me how much I owe them now but can't seem to tell me how much tax I paid this year or for any past year. So how could they come up with a tax bill I owe if they don't have my tax information???
Time to turn the tables on them.
CALL THEM!! Call them at all hours of the day/night!! Don't talk to them. Just put your phone next to some irratating music or talk radio. I like to find a AM Televangelist radio station and play for them. AND keep calling them back.
The more we turn the tables on the perpetrators the more they will learn they are not going to succeed. AND that we fight back!
they claim to receive a $7000 US Department of Treasury grant you will have to verify your identity by purchasing a GreenDot MoneyPak. And then the USDOTreasury will immediately wire Western union MoneyGram payment. the money pack is $5 with a minimum $20 to activate. After enough questioning and slimply READing THE MONEYPAK ITSELF you will realize that the MoneyPak is for personal use.! They are just getting lists from off the net wholesale and scamming the money. No racism but they are of course INDIAn. I told him I'm going to create a campaign to scam INDIAns living in India for the same! He was mad as f()ck and I laughed because it was a 2 hour conversation in which he would have only got 20$ or less because of the fees on removing money. These a poor immigrants being fooled into working an illegal call center! Try it! Go by a 10$ prepaid phone ask for a DC area code and call random people to tell them your calling from USDOtreasury in Washington!
We should all start calling from the US DEPARTMENTtreasury to to INVESTIGATE CLAIMS OF FRAUDULENT AND MISSED PAYMENTS THEY WILL BE SCARED AND IT WILL GET COSTLY TO KEEP SWITCHING NUMBERS!! let's go America!
After some simple google searches my best guess would be that the GOVT is fully aware. These lines run through DOD yes department of defense phone lines! L3 communication or L-3 landline communications still operating and trading on NYSE. these lines are very much apart of homeland surveillance.
