Came through cid as Lower rate,,, BUT, I have been receiving harrassing calls from Portfolio Recovery / Capital One for a 10 year + write off and have suddenly received several unsolicited calls like this... which I understand fit their MO..
The card service scammers WILL 'service' our credit cards, BUT, when they finish 'servicing' them, they will have NO available credit remaining! People that are fooled into having their cards 'serviced' will be charged a MINIMUM of $795.00, and many times the ENTIRE amount remaining on the card. The card service scammers are a disgusting group of degenerates, who prey mainly on the low income, and the elderly, but will cheat anyone that they can!
Just got a call and as others have stated, they left a message in regards to lowering your credit card interest. Called on a work phone number belonging to someone that has not worked here in years.
I cannot believe it. I carry an extra cell in my car for emergency use only and it is kept turned off. Yesterday I turned it on for the first time in months to look for an old phone number and forgot to turn it off. By golly I got the credit card scam call on it this morning. This call wasn't answered and this phone number has not been in circulation for years but, someone still has it. I haven't received any calls from this number on my home phone or the cell phone I use daily. They must be scraping the bottom of the barrel to get this number.
