Spoof phone mail. Listen, if you answer this, do not say YES! TV says there is a scam out there and they try to get you to answer yes. They then record your voice and can use it to charge things against your charge cards, etc, because they have you on tape saying yes. I don't answer any of these calls and I have too many now to block. Don't answer if you don't know who they are. If someone really needs to contact you, they will leave you a message.
I just got this call. Caller ID V209112046000681. What kind of idiots would think I would answer a call from that? I had another call about an hour earlier with CID New York NY from 6465177364. I didn't answer that one either and they are both blocked.
calls every day between noon and 1pm EDT. no message. why is there a DO NOT CALL REGISTRY that apparently gives carte blanche for scammers like this to call?
Received a call from this telephone number. No message was left. Anonymous callback reached a LEC recording saying that the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service.
