Spoof phone mail. Listen, if you answer this, do not say YES! TV says there is a scam out there and they try to get you to answer yes. They then record your voice and can use it to charge things against your charge cards, etc, because they have you on tape saying yes. I don't answer any of these calls and I have too many now to block. Don't answer if you don't know who they are. If someone really needs to contact you, they will leave you a message.
Some Indian pakistani voice and asks for the homeowner and babbles about solar panels. I keep telling them I already have one that I use for my electric fence. they bable something else and I say you know a fence that holds the animals in. Then you get the I am just trying to save you money on your electric bill. I tell them about the fence until they hang up.
Wanted to sell me solar panels. Ask me if I was on do not call list I said yes then ask me if it was OK to call me on this number I said yes. Why? I had a lapse if judgement!!!! Big time. I told him i had a company that was doing it for free he said they lied.He said his name was Roy and wanted to check my credit score I said no no no he said would be a soft check woulnt affect credit I said no I would do it and call him back he gave me this same number. After being told belonged to BB B I checked couldn't find them. I tried to call number back of course it said number had been disconnected. How do they keep calling if the number is disconnected? ??? Sure wish I knew that answer. What exactly are they trying to do? Scam for sure.
Roy???? Sure had a very thick accent to be a Roy if you catch my drift. They think we're really that dumb to believe that's really their name. First sign of a scam for me. I usually mess with them .pretending not to understand while I speak in foriegn accent. I pretend to make them think they want to take me on a cruise or send me money that's what I'm understanding them to say. They usually hang up me.
(718)705-1564 out of New York. Some lame-[***] red dot Indian calls me up on 01-09-17 and again the next day, talking about Green Energy. Both times I answer the phone in Spanish. Told the Injun guy, "No Habla Englace!" Idiot stick hung up. Wasted about 10 minutes of his time.
Call was received from 718-705-1564. I did not recognize the number and they hung up after 6 rings. I hit redial and was told by a recording that the number was no longer in service. This is evidently a scammer who has cloned the number to his caller ID and is covering his tracks by using a fake caller ID.
