Unwanted call

Sirius Radio.  I renewed last week and they are calling back for payment.  Is not a collection call, at least in my case.

I should add... their system was down so my credit card would not process.  This is why they are calling me back.  No big deal.  Just return the call!

I think the person using this number may be an independent telemarketer.  He promised a "better deal" than I was getting from Time Warner Cable.  I asked him to send me details of the "better deal" in writing; he replied that he could only offer it verbally.  I said that I could not consider any "deals" that were not in a written contract.

FYI, he was not discourteous, and seemed to be following his script.  I have blocked the number (thank you PhoneTray), so won't be bothered by calls from this number any more.

I got the same call about 2 minutes ago. The lady on the other end of the line seemed to be talking while standing in a wind tunnel, so I said I was sorry, I can't hear you and hung up. She was babbleing something about Time Warner Cable and knew what products I was using.
