Breast cancer solicitors are among the toughest to get rid of. It's more a matter of driving them off for a while before they'll start up again. Instead of answering in any way and if you can do it, let the phone ring with unwanted calls. The constant speaking over the receiver often indicates a recording. If you're forced to deal with them, hang up, then quickly turn your phone back on. Many times they'll still be carrying on.
This is a scam. I got a call from this number yesterday. After they went through their solicitation and asked how much I would give them, I said $20.00 just to see what their response was. Of course they put their "verifier" on the phone who insisted that I give her my credit card number. I told here I preferred paying by check. They finally said that was all right, but I must send the payment in within two days of receiving the information. Warning, don't ever give anyone a credit card number when they call you. Ever.
Was gone when they called, but wouldn"t have answered it anyway. What is odd tho above the # it said invalid number, and in front of 740 there were two number 1's?
