A man with a very 'Howard Cunningham -from Happy Days' voice answered after a brief delay stating he was from the local first responders something or another trying to raise money for local first responders, then continued to say that gifts were given for $100, $75, $50 and $35, a finished with it being tax deductible complete with a thank you note. then he asked, "how much can I put you down for?" I responded with, "I'm not interested", and I hung up.
How do we report scammers like this?
Called both my cell and my husband's within minutes of each other. Robot guy soliciting for first responders and firefighters. These calls are always scams. Number now blocked on both phones.
