I got this call that they want to lower my interest rate on my credit card, there are no problems with your card but please press one now this is your final eligibility day. the caller id says Jolena Peck on it....I don't know WHO that is
Someone or something called my personal mobile number from a number that appears as 7409759296. I did not answer. I did not call back. I did not receive a voice message, and I did not receive another call; at least, not yet. I recommend that anyone who receives a call from this number ignore the call and post here, so that others know of the indiscretion.
Got a call today from this number today on my cell phone. As posted by many others, it was a credit card services scam. They claim that they can lower your interest rate but you must act today. Once I hit "1" and talked to a real person. I asked the guy who he worked for and he told me "all credit card companies." I pushed him for a real answer and that was all he would say. I told him it was a scam and then he yelled at me for hitting 1 and wasting his time.
