just a message left - from care.com - letting you know updates to the site .. i did have a resume posted there at one time - that is how they got my number - unsure if they just call random people or not
You should also report them to the BBB. This is ridiculous that this many of us have had unauthorized charges from them. I hardly believe this many of us coincidentally had someone swipe our CC info to then use for this particular service.
Matthew, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Its really easy to do online. I did it in minutes - which is a fraction of the time I spent on the phone with my bank closing my account and reporting the charges and trying to get a hold of someone at Care.com

As you pointed out, this scam appears to be easy enough to pull off. And if we don't take action beyond demanding refunds, they will CONTINUE to do it. For however many of us that notice it on our bills, how many people don't and they get to keep all that money they are scamming from people. Like you, I had the new number 877-227-3115. They probably changed it because of all the calls for refunds.
we have 37$ monthly charges on our card even though we never signed up for anything. turned out there were four separate names using my charge card! none of the names were mine or anyone in our family. dealing with it now.
