I noticed this happened to you 2 years ago and someone named Ellis called. Interesting indeed because 2 years ago someone got my account # when I was on-line to Great Britian. My husbands first name is Ellis. It'a a man's name. Had to close down my account and start again. Now it's happening all over with a call from this #. They wanted my birthday and my husband's. Since they didn't ask for anything more I assumed it was legit. It's not.

I got a call from this number this morning to the business line.
I run a few online website businesses, http://www.topseo.net, http://www.timmathews.com, http://www.thesportsmansedge.com, http://www.pickerelcreek.com, etc.
The lady didn't identify herself but she asked me what type of business it was, I explained web design development, marketing, etc. She said, "Oh Computer?" and I replied "YES!" She thanked me and told me to have a nice day. Seeing this post now, I called the number back and I get an automated message:
Something about retirement services and the prompt says after March 9th the menu will change... A little late I think.

Got a call from this number, identified as 'CFG' on the caller ID, and was told my account was compromised and now locked. Called the number back and got 'retirement services' voice mail, and got a little worried. Called the customer service number on the back of my card, and verified that what I was told... If you get a call from this number and feel uncomfortable speaking with them, I reccommend you end the call politely and try calling the number on the back of your card to verify.

I got a call from this #.  The woman told me she worked in Citizen Bank's Fraud Group.  She wanted me to give identifying information to me.  I was afraid to.  So, she told me to call the telephone # on the back of my bank card and ask for the Fraud Department.  I did so.  The Fraud Department verified that the call was legitimate.  Someone had gotten hold of my debit card # and tried to make a big withdrawal from my account.  The bank stopped the transaction.  I told the bank to cancel my debit card and to send a replacement card to me.  Like me, I recommend that others call the bank too after such a call to verify that the call is legitimate.
