Constant notices to my address person moved from this address 6 years ago, I call them to change address and stop calling here, this is more than harassment, I gave them correct address and phone number they still continue to call and send mail to my address. furious!
I have been getting letters from DMI for a long time. Recently one of their final notices was accidentally put in a neighbor's mailbox and the neighbor accidentally opened it. Totally humiliating. I called DMI's phone number and they said they would take me off the list but I'm still receiving their notices. Isn't there anything we can do?
Yes, you can send them a cease & desist letter via certified or return receipt USPS mail. You can also file complaints with the BBB, Yours and their Attorney General and The CFPB . Follow the steps in what you need to know.
To File complaints FDCPA/TCPA violations:

Their State Attorney general

***A company must be licensed in their state as well as the one they are trying to collect in if two different states are involved.
Some Tips:
*Keep all messages
*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time, date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.

about 3 calls from them daily. No one says anything on the line, and then it cuts out. I have blocked the number, but phone logs show that they keep calling.
