Save it in your contacts list as "bozo" or some other name then set the Ringtone to "silent" or "none" and do the same for text messages from that number. If they call from other numbers keep adding them to that contact until it is full then create bozo2, etc. They call and you never hear it and don't know until you check your missed calls log and see "bozo" on the list.
My daughter has been getting these texts at £1.25 each and sending replies back too - HUGE phone bill - not a happy mummy - please find this person and stop them sucking in naive teenagers!!!
this number has called numerous times.. looking for someone .. not the person who has the number.. don't recognize the number.. i don't usually answer it ..
Called me 2 days in a row leaving a message to call Carmen Thompson back regarding "my options" regarding my Capital One account. What? Called the 1-800 number and a voice says "Thank you for calling Capital One...please enter the 7-digit number to speak with your account representative. Indeed, Carmen answered and promptly asked me who I was. I gave her my name and she said she did not leave any messages for anyone by that name. Funny, I said, as she had left messages for 2 days in a row, stating "this message is for (blank)" using my full name. Shen then asked me for my SS #, which I stupidly gave to her, after which she confirmed "I do not have any messages for you...I am sorry, we must have reached you in error." Afterward, I called the customer service number on the back of my Capital One statement, and after some investigation, were able to verify that no one from the real Capital One had called me. Feeling duped.
