This is a group that buys old debts and tries to collect.

They called me looking for someone that hasn't had the number for years.

Never ever give anyone your social security number.  If they have your capitol one info then they should have that info and tell you so YOU can verify, not the other way around.  We received a call from this number and my husband being an IT guy told the lady I'm not giving you any information and after a little struggle the lady said where you born in 1954 and he said no lady you have the wrong guy.  We are not delinquent on any bills so we knew it was a scam.

This number is Also now sending texts that your Paypal account has been locked due to a claim on it.
Paypal doesn't text you folks. Don't be fooled, do not reply to the texts at all, they will have your imie number when you do that and then can back track your subscriber info to get all your information.

Called me asking about a family member they're trying to get a hold of.

Called looking for someone with the same last name as me but there is no one in my family with the first name he was asking for.
