I have received 2 calls from 804-554-3036 today so far. One this morning, asking for my husband. Told her he was unavailable. Now about 10 minutes ago, seemed like a recording, I just hung up.
Received a call stating that we owe $4,500 today or a $100,000.00 lawsuit will be filed against us. Said UPS tried to deliver notices in July and November multiple times. They wouldn't give tracking number so I could verify. Asked for an email or fax or the notice so I could validate their request. They said they can't. This has scam all over it.
This is a scam!! For one thing it is on auto dial, so it keeps calling until you are the quickest number to answer their automated machine. Then the person on phone claims to be the IRS and wants you to give out your social security number, trying to make you feel like they are going to stop a scam.
Just received a third call - it is a message - not an actual person. Gives name of James and the number, 804-554-3036. If he doesn't hear from me or our attorney, all he can do is wish good luck. Call the number and it states it is a nonworking number.
Same call 2x yesterday on answering machine once around 10 and the other around 1:30 pm. Number 804-554-3036. Told my children not to answer as caller ID says unknown. Definite recording as I have a do not solicit message on my phone so when it hits the answering machine rhetoric is in midstream. So disgusted with these people. Have also warned older people I know who would not think to Google the number so they don't fall victim.
