Seems now in Aug 2017 this number is offering work at home opportunities per "Ken" who called and spoke with me. Shows as E Marketing Systems on caller ID. Asked to remove #..female calls me 2 hrs later n I tell her my # was supposed to be removed earlier and ask why they are calling me again..CLICK..the other end disconnects and Im listening to dialtone.
Got the exact message as above except my phone number was from " Will be an intentional second attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. Now this is the final attempt to reach you. To know your case number and to speak to a federal agent call back on 804-729-8841 I repeat 804-729-8841 thank you" First thing I knew this was a scam is because 1. I know no one in Virginia; 2. I've been to Virginia once almost 6 years ago and didn't get so much as a parking ticket and 3. If I needed to appear in court for anything it would've been sent in writing. Didn't bother calling the number back.
Got a call from this number on my cell at 5:22 pm. Didn't answer as I don't recognize the number, from Richmond, VA and no voice message. Not important and probably a SCAM, thanks to all the posts I've read. Sick of every unwanted calls which I get a lot. Another number blocked.
Been calling me for days. I don't answer numbers I don't know. When they leave messages their accent is so strong and I know I don't know them. They always claim they are from the IRS. I also get ones calling from Florida. I live in Virginia. Today when they called no messages.
