I DON'T EVEN HAVE A MORTGAGE. OUR HOUSE IS PAID FOR SO I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THEY ARE CALLING ME. SO I DID WHAT BOB SAID AND WENT TO THE SITE TO HAVE MY NUMBER REMOVED. I DON'T NEED THIS IDIOTS CALLING ME.
Thanks to everyone for letting me know this number is coming from NationStar Mortgage Company. Sadly, my mortgage was also sold to this company which is an absolute horror to work with since they are calling multiple times per day, not leaving messages, are not helpful, and send mortgage statements via mail very late, almost causing you to miss payments. I am going to try to opt out of receiving phone calls, but from the responses, I am wasting my time. I wish I could refinance with a different lender, but with homes not worth their value and the cost of refinancing, I am just going to have to stick it out, in hopes of a better lender. I am going to file a complaint with Better Business, hopefully, if enough people complain they will do something with the horrible company.
My mortgage was also sold to NationStar. They are the most difficult people to work with. I have tried to make extra principal payments on line and it is impossible. I finally got them to take the payment over the phone without a charge and it wasn't applied correctly. I can only hope they sell my loan to someone else soon.
Nationstar is a nightmare. I too wish someone else would take over. I will not refinance, I only have 5 more years to goooooo, and hopefully I can make it shorter (with a little luck). I am stuck paying extra on my account for the money they paid my homeowner policy--I did not authorize this. So when they corrected their error, they paid my private ho policy for a year, so now I am making super high payments with interest on something they should have NOT paid in the first place. They corrected the problem after multiple calls and faxes, but the damage is done. They didn't notify me that I was supposed to pay extra until 6 months after they gave me an escrow account. Jerks.
