Left a insane message yesterday for my minor son, had his first name right but killed the last name saying he owed medical bills. My son recently was treated by CHOP doctors at Princeton Medical Center and RWJ doctors in New Brunswick. I called both and my son's account has been paid in full. I believe some under paid biller or clerk at one of these institutions is probably selling info to friends
It is a debt collector, and they call everyday, numerous times a day! They never ever leave a message until today. Saying it's a debt collection agency and to call them back! I despise debt collector agencies~
I just received a phone call from this number and they did leave a message. It was a woman saying that she was from our local hospital (Holy Spirit), but the number was a NJ number. So there was lie number one. She asked me to call back using a given reference number. I set up a payment plan with that hospital months ago. I'm not sure what's going on here.
THese clowns have not called in a long time, but here they are again. They're baaaaaaaaaack! You would not believe the idiocy of the recorded message they left. Absolutely manic.
On and on about how this call was for some mangled version of my husband's name, and if this is not his phone number, to call them at xxx-xxx-xxxx to report that fact. But, if this is his phone number, and you are not him, then hang up. Duh! They call my house, and pester me with a stupid message on my phone, then think they can dictate to me whether or not I can listen to their message?
Then, they go into hyper overdrive with dramatic 3-second pauses marked by beeps, then they caution the listener to evacuate the premises of all persons who are not my husband, and then they do another dramatic three-second pause punctuated by electronic beeps, and finally, the listener is told the the secret of the inner sanctum, ie, we are a debt collector, please call us at some phone number that nobody can seriously consider calling, the absolutely manic way it is delivered, two or three times, no less.
You gotta hear this to fully understand the absolute out-of -control craziness! If my husband has a legitimate debt, send him a letter. And since I believe I know the brazen bullying thieves who are claiming this debt, they can go pound sand. Local hospital here in the Lehigh Valley, bought up every thing in sight, and have been acting like brazen pirates ever since. Last time I got a bill from them that was totally wrong, I told the insurance company, and one of their people took care of it. But, she told me, this is thievery, yes, but, no, it is not illegal. We are in deep do-do, people,. with these systems in place.
I generally will not answer calls with unspecified names and/or strange numbers. I have been receiving calls/no messages from this number for a few months. I did get two identical robo-call type, ridiculous messages in the past two weeks, however. I taped one for future reference. They claim to be a debt collection agency and are looking for an individual who is not me. ... if I continue to listen to the message I am admitting I am this other person and I should call 800-220-0270 immediately...blahblah. They claim to be "financial recoveries." I don't know how they got my number because I am not this person and I don't owe anyone any $. Could this be fraud? I googled the number and they are apparently from NJ. I plan to report this to the BBB and state attorney general office. I am not returning the call from this outfit.
just email them and tell them you will sue them.i have sued several companies all done online and won.never had to go to court.I have call blocking but have records of all calls.several companies I threatened to sue.emailed me telling me I will never be called again.
