They called and wanted to talk to my mother who is in a nursing home. They actually wanted to make arrangements when they could talk with her at the nursing home! I told them my mom has dementia and can't talk on the phone. Then they wanted me to send them POA papers to them, but refused to say what this was about. I told them I wouldn't send them legal papers without knowing what this was about. Told them to send me a letter, but they refused to. They were quite rude. For all I know they could be scammers or identity thieves!

I get so many calls from people like this. I don't even answer the phone for them the first time. I Google all strange numbers now and store them in my contacts so I always know it's them calling, and don't answer, ever. It takes forever for them to give up. these people are a law firm? than why do they call and say this call is being recorded when it is illegal to do so in the state of Florida without the out person's permission? a lawyer doesn't call you, a minimum wage person calls and doesn't even know that they to are libel for charges under Florida'a law. tell the person who calls it is against the law to record the conversation - they hang up - very PROFESSIONAL!
