I have read all of these statements people have left on here and it seems to be pretty clear on several levels since I myself have delt with Merchant's Credit Association and I have NEVER had any problem. Ok people seem to have a problem with the collection agency calling you, simple solution pay your bills on time and they won't need to call you. Also would you rather them call and leave you a voicemail about a "Personal Buisness Matter" or say "this is so and so from Merchant's Credit calling about your severlly past due medical debts." I mean really people pay your bills and you won't have these problems, also if you can't pay it off see if someone is willing to work out a payment plan. They did with me I am a single mom of 3 kids and I pay $50 a month on a automatic debit and if I can pay more I just call and ask to up my payment that one time.
Let me tell you something I pay my bills and I have never had a problem paying my bills . These people call my 13 year old daughters phone and wanted to speak with my 16 yr old daughter . I took the phone and asked what this was about and who it was I got a rude man on the other end of the line who told me he could only talk to my daughter . I told him my daughter was a minor and he told me she wasnt and he was yelling at me and hung up on me . So i got my 16 yr old to call back and put it on speaker and they were rude to her and wouldnt tell her who they were . I have great insurance and so do all three of my children . My husband has great insurance as well . Im a nurse so it doesnt cost us one penny at the doctors office . You must work for this company . These people are rude and thank god I found out who was calling my children . It will be handled and to the man that was so rude to my family I am contacting a lawyer I record everything!
I have had repeated calls from this number. I am not sure if it is from my surgery this past spring at AnMed, or on the oral surgery for my daughter. Chris Lee calls between 4-9 times a day. My husband intercepts the calls at home for me, but now he is calling my college and asking for my personal information. I just hope this jerk doesn't find out where I work! I also have 2 daughters at home still, and I am worried that he may bother my young kids as well. He is much more than a bill collector, but also a stalker and just plain rude. How do you evade his ruthless, unprofessional tactics? This is supposed to be illegal, but this interogater just doesn't care. He doesn't care about you, and I don't know how he can sleep at night! I can only assume that he has no scruples, morals, or conscience.
I agree. You must work for them, because the negatives here far outweigh the positives in regards to this company. I am making payments, but I am sure if it is in response to one of them that is unethical to say the least. They should just cheerfully accept their payments, and if they can't.... well then choke on them! At least it would be quieter! My husband is out of work, and I attend college full time with 3 kids as well. Increasing the payments is NOT an option for me, and they should just say "thank you for your payment". Not judge me, or go out of their way to harrass my family.
