Received a message today from someone saying they were from the IRS and they said to call this # 917-310-1120 to avoid a lawsuit against us. We did not call back.
received a recorded call from a female, stating she was with the I>R>S< that a law suit was being filed against me, and unless I call back ASAP, the suit was being filed. I know the IRS would not call directly, without first sending letters stating the reason for the inquiry. This call came 1hour, twenty minutes ago. Did, not, would not, call them.

Just received the same phone call from a recorded woman's voice saying she was from the IRS and they had been trying to contact me. She demanded that I call her back at once or they would file suit against me. I did not call back. I went to https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml to report the call to the government.
