Jenn +1 (917) 336-2930 New York, NY
The caller claimed that there is a third party, who is filing a legal suit. They wanted to give me a number to contact this third party. Then when I said I don't believe this to be true and that the original party wished to contact me they could do so by mail. The representative told me I was "f***ing rude". I explained that I would not be spoken to like that and I hung up. They proceeded to call several more times consecutively. I picked up and hung up on them so that they could leave a message.
They then called from another number: 6462019499

1-917-336-2930 calls at about the same time each day.  I answer the phone saying "hello" only to hear several seconds of silence, then a click, followed by a disconnect.  I wonder if its a call from a land line or cell.  In the latter case, it could be someone nearby so I have now provided the number to local police departments and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

I get a call about the same time every day from this number, I just keep igoreing it or let it go to voicemail, though they never leave one, and if I ignore the call they call back immediately

Oh boy!, another new number to block... With the Caller ID of BROOKLYN  NY, you already know it's a scammer or someone fishing for Information. I know absolutely no one from New York who lives in Brooklyn. They didn't leave a message, so that's a red flag that this isn't the actual real number and is made with voip (voice over Internet protocol) made from an exchange of numbers they are using to hide who they actually are. They could be anywhere in the USA or overseas. I can block 1750 numbers, area codes or area code with prefix and I can wild card the last 4 digits too. Once entered my phone never rings, but keeps a list of all calls so I get to laugh at them still calling with zero chance of ringing my phone.
I know there's home phones in development right now that only allow callers in your phone's directory to be able to ring the phone as an option. Otherwise the caller will be hung up on. Can't wait for them to come to market!
